Privacy at RankingPT

This policy explains what personal data we process through rankingpt.com, why, for how long and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Data controller

The data controller is Diogo Dinis Manteigas de Oliveira, acting as an individual, with an address at Rua da Fraternidade No. 23B, 7005-361 Évora, Canaviais, Portugal. For questions about your personal data on this website, email sales@rankingpt.com.

Information you send us

The white-label partnership form asks for your name, agency or company, email address, website, the service you need and your project details, together with a confirmation that you have read this policy. If you contact us by email or through another form on the website, we receive the information you choose to send. We use this information only to receive, assess and respond to your enquiry, to take any steps you ask for before a possible collaboration and, where applicable, in our legitimate interest in managing professional enquiries. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed.

No newsletter or marketing

The white-label partnership form does not sign you up to a newsletter and does not ask for permission to send marketing communications. The confirmation box only records that you have read this policy. We only reply to the enquiry you send us. We do not sell your data.

How the partnership form works

When you submit the form, your browser sends it directly to HubSpot through the HubSpot Forms API. Your name is sent as first and last name fields and your email address in its own field; your agency or company, website, selected service, the page language and your project details are combined into a single message field. HubSpot also receives the address and name of the page you submitted the form from and, only if it is already set in your browser, the HubSpot tracking cookie (hubspotutk); the form does not create that cookie. To filter out automated submissions, the form uses a hidden field and a short minimum completion time. This form does not use reCAPTCHA. Other forms on the website may be embedded HubSpot forms, which work with HubSpot’s own settings.

Cookies and website measurement

We store your cookie choice in your browser so that we can respect it. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept analytics cookies. They may collect technical information about your device, browser, the pages you visit and how you interact with the site, to produce statistics and improve the experience. The legal basis is your consent. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer; if you reject analytics, we stop loading these services and remove the analytics cookies the site can access.

Hosting and security

Netlify hosts and delivers the website and may process technical data and logs needed for security and availability. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are reviewed and deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful interaction. This is RankingPT’s retention policy and is applied by us; it is not an automatic deletion by HubSpot. Data needed for contracts, invoicing, legal obligations or the defence of legal claims may be kept for the periods required by law. In Google Analytics 4, event data is kept for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months; because the reset on new activity option is enabled, a new visit can restart that 14-month period. In Microsoft Clarity, session recordings are kept for 30 days, and click data, heatmaps and labelled or favourited sessions are kept for up to 9 months.

Recipients and transfers

We use only the providers we need: Netlify for hosting, HubSpot to receive and manage enquiries, Google for Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft for Clarity, the last two only after your consent. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses and the safeguards set out in the providers’ contracts.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw your consent, as applicable, by emailing sales@rankingpt.com. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, at cnpd.pt.

Changes

We may update this policy when the website, our providers or our processing practices change. The date at the top shows the version in force.
